    would you put them in Mylar with o2 absorber? In small plastic bags then in Mylar? Leave in pharmacy bottle? Thanks for advice

    Good topic, since there's such a large population on some sort of maintenance medications.

    Here's an article for reference, that is a bit easier to read than most of the peer-reviewed science article types. It basically breaks it down depending on the form of medication: liquid, pill, capsule, ointment/paste. Light, heat and humidity seem to be the worst enemies of meds.

    Personally speaking, if you need to use items in sterile packs such as syringes, infusion sets, instruments etc. I consider those to be at least 'clean' if not sterile if they are past the expiration date for sterility.
