Im on a very tight budget. I've not only learned to only buy, what i need in the way of food,to what ever.but buy a lil extra of at least 3 or 4 different items,on each primary shopping trip.in which my food supplies grew.i also buy, only what i will eat.i made 2 mistake thoe.1st is.i didn't plan my food storage space like i should of.but yet no problem.i built a set of L shaped food shelves out of 1x6's. And 1x2's..the other mistake, was.i kept running out of certain foods, while i had to much of other foods.so i stocked up on , what i was running out of,as well as refrigerated and frozen foods.that put me where i need to be,where i can build up my food supplies, when and where i need to..the home made shelves, and freezer are pretty full of food right now.
